I've been quilting for several years but am not an "art" quilter by any means! I'm a native Texan but we have lived all over the country while my husband was in the Army and then in the oil and gas business. I was an Army nurse for a while and a hospice nurse for six years. We have retired in Midland, much to our surprise. You could say that it's not the garden spot of Texas but the people here are wonderful.
I just searched "West Point Quilt" and ended at your blog. I LOVE the quilts you've done. We are stationed here at WP and I did a quilt when we first got here - just using WP colors but I love these memory quilts. Now I'm on a quest to find remnants from my husband's cadet days - that aren't riddled with moth holes!! Also, I see that you are in Midland - my dad and his wife live in Midland. Small world! Deb
