I've been quilting for several years but am not an "art" quilter by any means! I'm a native Texan but we have lived all over the country while my husband was in the Army and then in the oil and gas business. I was an Army nurse for a while and a hospice nurse for six years. We have retired in Midland, much to our surprise. You could say that it's not the garden spot of Texas but the people here are wonderful.
This simple nine patch quilt was made (quickly!) for a friend who will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. He's an avid golfer and I hope that the quilt will remind him that he'll soon be back out on the links.
Betty, Again I thank you for sharing your beautiful talent for quilting. This quilt is so perfectly laid out and has maximum snugglability (new word??) I'm sure that Albert will feel the same way. Keep up the wonderful work, I think you are very talented.
