"Semi-home made" kitty condo

My husband took two small kitty condo units and put them together to make the girls a great condo to play in and view their domain.

Quilt of Valor - back of quilt

I ordered this fabric months ago not knowing what I would do with it. Because the recipient of this quilt is a West Point graduate, the fabric was perfect.

Quilt of Valor

This quilt is a very simple pattern called Roman Cross. I have made it as a Quilt of Valor for a friend who was seriously wounded in Iraq recently. As always, the kittens have to give their approval.

"A Mother's Love"

This little quilt is made from the dresses of the mother of a close friend. Her mom passed away last month and I am hoping that the quilt will be a happy reminder of her mother. Of course, my girls are very interested and think that it belongs to them!

"Fore!!!"

This simple nine patch quilt was made (quickly!) for a friend who will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. He's an avid golfer and I hope that the quilt will remind him that he'll soon be back out on the links.

Texas Patriot

This quilt was made as a retirement gift for a colonel in the US Army who has devoted his entire life to service to our country. He is a native Texan and I thought that this would be a fitting retirement gift. The quilt is a "grid quilt" and is made of over 450 21/2" squares that then were placed to form the shape of the Lone Star State. I even used some Texas A&M fabric, which was very hard for me but he has two children who graduated from A&M. Personally, I am a UT girl. I hope that he likes the quilt!
